ABOUT 49 NORTH PRODUCTIONS

Located on the high plains of Montana, we are a small company that produces specialty films, TV commercials, animations and artwork.

49 North Productions takes its name from the existing border between Canada and the United States (at least from Minnesota to the Pacific coast); 49 degrees north latitude. The boundary was set by treaty in 1846, formally titled "Treaty with Great Britain, in Regard to Limits Westward of the Rocky Mountains". Our company headquarters are only a couple of miles from the Alberta-Montana border and hence we chose the name 49 North Productions.

49 North Productions is largely a family affair. Our experience in film, creative writing, law, technology, illustration, English and Japanese have all proved invaluable as we produce a few select pieces each year which we find challenging or interesting for one reason or another.
