The Savoynet Pirates
Through an internet mailing list called Savoynet, fans of Gilbert and Sullivan meet, discuss, audition and put on a production every year at the Festival.

Watch as the entire cast walks through the Act I Finale from The Pirates of Penzance. Leading Soprano Rebecca Consentino Haines, and financial director Stephen Hill explain the history of this unique group of web-savvy performers.

The Youth Mikado
The Festival Educational Trust leads the way in bringing music and theatre to young people with its workshops and productions dedicated specifically to youth and education.

Join director Pamela Leighton-Bilik and her producers Paul and Marsha Boymel as they share their joy of working with children. Then meet Ceri-Lyn Humphreys and Mark Burns, two leads from The Mikado as they rehearse and discuss their love of theatre.

Experience the entire production from auditions to opening night in the documentary A Source of Innocent Merriment.

The Fringe
Various fringe activities are organized every day of the festival. Interviews and conversations are given with actors, directors and retired members of the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company.

Join Alistair Donkin in conversation as he describes some of the hilarious theatrical mishaps that he has encountered. Meet the happy couple Stephanie and Mitch Gillett who fell in love through Gilbert and Sullivan.

Listen to the stories of Stephen Hill, the man who holds the distinction of having sung Gilbert and Sullivan farthest North and South in the world. Finally, get to know philanthropic international soprano and Festival Adjudicator Gillian Humphreys as she extols the virtues of music and laughter.
